Incident report details: While using a computer at the library, the victim’s wallet was stolen. He had taken his wallet out of his back pocket to access his login information and then he thought he either returned it to his pocket (from which it may have fallen to the floor) or put on the table beside him. He left the computer for a moment to answer a phone call and when he returned to the computer he discovered his wallet was missing. A witness noted that a female has been seen holding an object that she passed to a male who exited the building immediately. The wallet was later found on the couch by the drinking fountain with all documents intact but without the cash. The library was able to provide video of the incident to law enforcement and identify the suspects.

Location: Miler Country Club, Country Club Blvd., Summerville
Date: July 10, 2013

Items stolen: Tools, two golf carts

Incident report details: When they arrived at work at 7:30 a.m., Miler Country Club maintenance workers discovered that two of the storage sheds had been broken into and a set of tools stolen from one, and two golf carts stolen from the other. The golf carts are EZ GO carts with Summerville Country Club 1925 on the front of one and the initials HH on the front of the other. Also missing was a set of keys to two tractors. Around noon, the workers contacted police to report they had seen two juvenile males riding the missing golf carts on the Sawbranch Trail near Luden Drive. The two juveniles told police that they had bought the carts from a Hispanic male.

Items stolen: Car side mirror
Total value: $200
Incident report details: The victim reported to police that she had parked her car and gone into Cato Fashion to shop. When she returned to her vehicle at approximately 6:30 p.m. she observed her passenger side mirror was missing. Police noted there was neither broken glass nor damage to the car.
