Tajuan Pringle


Editor’s note: According to information provided Wednesday by the Summerville Police Department, the following suspects were still at large. All photos provided by reporting agency.

Name: Tajuan Dontrey Pringle

Age: 18

Description: Black male, 190 pounds, 5’8”

Last known address: 2459 Taylor Street, North Charleston

Wanted for: Second Degree Burglary

Wanted by: Summerville Police Department

Wanted since: April 7, 2014

Investigators allege: On April 7, Tajuan Dontrey Pringle unlawfully entered a home within the Summer Park subdivision and stole electronics and jewelry. A case codefendant gave a statement to police implicating Pringle in the burglary. The statement said Pringle forcefully entered the residence and removed the items. The codefendant positively identified Pringle using SPD file photographs.

Name: James Wiley Martin, Jr.

Age: 42

Description: Black male, 214 pounds, 6’

Last known address: 701 Tulip Street, Summerville

Wanted for: Second Degree Assault and Battery

Wanted by: Summerville Police Department

Wanted since: April 21, 2014

Investigators allege: On April 21, James Wiley Martin Jr. assaulted and battered the victim. According to police reports, Martin punched the victim in the temple with a closed fist and used a wooden brook stick to strike the victim’s body seven times. The victim was transported to Summerville Medical Center and received 23 stitches to the forehead and seven staples on the top of the head. Both a witness and the victim submitted statements about the attack. The victim positively identified the defendant, as the two have been acquaintances for many years.
