[Subheading]
Tuesday, December 09, 2008

Holiday music and dance performed by local school children, arts and crafts vendors and a marshmallow dog roasting pit will usher in Home for the Holidays at The Ponds, presented Dec. 12 from 6 – 9 p.m. by First Federal.
The holiday event will be held at the amphitheatre at the entrance to The Ponds on Highway 17A South just 5.4 miles from the Summerville Town Square. Bring your favorite food and beverage, and beach chairs or blankets for seating and enjoy a festive evening of holiday cheer in the setting of one of Summerville’s scenic new master planned communities. There is no cost, but a $5 donation per car is appreciated and all proceeds will benefit the newest Summerville YMCA facility, scheduled to open in January at The Ponds.
Participating crafters include stained glass and wooden items, knitted scarves, jewelry, graphic art, purses and wooden plaques. Come early to browse among the vendors, roast marshmallows.
