Miler Country Club hosted two tournaments Father’s Day weekend.
On June 19, Brandon Capps shot a 74 to win the 10th Annual Roy Meyers Junior Open for golfers age 7-18.
The score also earned him first place in the age 16-18 division.
Brent Heaton finished at 86 to earn runner-up honors for the division. Cason Woods (105) placed third and Glen Amberson (122) placed fourth.
Connor O’Rourke shot a 77 to win the age 13-15 division.
Jason Bryant finished at 82 to earn runner-up honors. Trailing were Grant Opoulos (84), Dillon Bunch (91), Tyler Loparo  (95), Matt Prosser (99) and Mason Hazel (116).
Golfers for the final two divisions for the annual tournament only played nine holes.
Ben Crimminger finished with a score of 36 to win the age 11-12 division.
Jesse Rayburn finished at 48 for runner-up honors. Trailing were Max Maurer  (49), J R Stark (50), Christian Woods  (50), Riley O'Rourke (53), Barron Knight (62), Dane Henderson (65), Chase Byars (69) and Bella Morgan (69).
Brodie Blanton won the age 7-10 division with a score of 40.
Luis Paez finished at 43 for runner-up honors and Ethan Stout placed third with a score of 53.
The club hosted its annual Father-Son/Daughter Golf Tournament June 20-21.
For the third straight year, the team of Bob and Chris Asbell won the two-person Captain's Choice tournament, finishing with a low-gross score of 124.
Tom Jeter, Will Jeter and Ben Jeter teamed up to earn runner-up honors with a 132 score. The team of Gene and Travis Ashburn placed third with a 135 score.
The team of Jesse and Jay Spivey won the second flight with a low-net score of 137. There was a tie for second place in the flight with the team of Bo and Bray Blanton matching the 140 posted by the team of Barry Connor and Taylor Summers.
There was also a tie for first place in the third flight with the team of Tom Hines and Riley O’Rourke matching the 148 posted by the team of Brooks Moore and Brooke Mathews.
The team of John and Joey Bowers finished at 150 to earn runner-up honors for the flight.
