Eighth-graders at Alston Middle School had a blast at the African-American Heritage Festival. They listened to Gullah stories, learned about African-Americans in the Civil War and even got to play some new instruments! Ms. Muckenfuss, Mrs. Hudak and Ms. Herring had a great time as well!
