Summerville resident David Heilman has been promoted to vice president of business development at Franklin Funding, a Charleston firm that specializes in senior home equity solutions.
Heilman previously was director of business development. He has been with Franklin Funding since 2007, focusing on building relationships with financial institutions, senior service providers and other centers of influence in the senior community.
An active member of the community, Heilman is the second vice president of the Lowcountry Senior Network, chairman of membership for the South Carolina Aging in Place Coalition and chairman of scholarship for the Mortgage Lenders Association of Greater Charleston.
