A "Dogmore Stew Festival" organized by Lowcountry Animal Rescue was held on March 6, 2010 held at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens.
The purpose was to raise funds to support Lowcountry Animal Rescue.  Guests participated in silent auctions and raffles with prizes ranging from artwork to flea medicine. There were pet fashion shows, dog training and grooming demos.
The price of the tickets included admission into the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens as well as a Lowcountry feast of appetizers, Frogmore Stew and desserts.
