Esta Freda C. Holton, 84, of Summerville, SC, widow of Archer E. Holton, died Sunday, February 21, 2010, in a local hospital.
Born April 21, 1925 in Paris, TN, she was the daughter of George H. Campbell and Gerdie Chadwick Campbell.  She was a long time member of Ashley River Baptist.
Mrs. Holton is survived by her daughter, Connie Manos; son, Philip A. Holton; two grandchildren, Linda Siegling and Josh Bareau; and one great-grandchild.
Left to mourn her are two sisters, Mae Dell French and Mary Head; three devoted nieces,  Mary French, Donna Russell and her husband Larry, and Linda Weeks and her husband Larry; a niece, Mae Harter; a nephew, Larry Salley; and many great-nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her siblings: Mildred Bruhn, Lillian Walker, Vernell Valentine, Irene Owens, G. H. Campbell, Raymond Campbell, Pleny Campbell, and Pearl Cobb; nephews, Bill French and Tony French.
The funeral service was held in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM.  Interment was held at Carolina Memorial Park.
