The Ashley Ridge girls’ tennis team opened its season with a 7-0 win over Cane Bay Tuesday.
In singles play: Lauren Lowell defeated Allison Hager 6-1, 6-1; Shannon Moses defeated Ashley Robinson 6-0, 6-0; Aly Herrera defeated Smeaj Tolliver 6-0, 6-1; Alicia Bonzillain defeated Aimee Mclancon 6-0, 6-0; Ckenzie Morris defeated Danielle Harvey 6-1, 6-0.
In doubles play: Stephanie Alfaro and Lexi Swick defeated Allison Hager and Ashley Robinson 8-2; and Taylor Shields and Rachel Collins defeated Syeebia Ody and Morgan Pollard 6-4, 6-0.
It was also the season opener for Cane Bay.
