Wanted for: Breach of trust, more than $1,000

Wanted since: Aug. 11
Investigators allege: McCants, then employed at Target in Summerville, stole $1,030 worth of merchandise between July 21 and July 31. A loss prevention officer for the store filed a report saying McCants stole a hard drive, a cell phone, three MP3 players and an energy drink. McCants confessed to stealing the items and returned one of the MP3 players. He sold another MP3 player July 27 at a pawn shop on Dorchester Road.

Description: Black male; 6’1”; 225 pounds

Wanted for: Financial transaction card fraud
Wanted by: Summerville Police Department
Wanted since: July 29
Investigators allege: Mitchell on July 8 used a Visa bank card belonging to Dale Wallace Fine Floral Creation to pay his $139.60 Nextel cell phone bill. The victim discovered the unauthorized transaction while reviewing his business records. He called Sprint Corporate Security and was told his shop’s card was used to make a payment on Mitchell’s account. The victim said he does not know Mitchell and did not give him permission to use the card.
