Summerville residents Peter and Kelly Hazel have been running all over the place lately, literally. The distance runners have joined their friends, former Summerville residents Dan and Angela Torgerson, to run in several marathon events this year. After joining the Torgersons in braving the elements during the Alaska Marathon, the Hazel’s teamed up with them again for the Golden Gate Half Marathon and the Disney Marathon. Dan was deployed prior to he Disney event, but was able to get his finishers medal by running a marathon in Kuwait. The others did well at the event with Kelly (r) placing second in the 45-49 age division with a 3:32.09 time, Angela (middle) finishing with a personal-best time of 3:56.00 and Peter (l) finishing with a personal-best time of 3:32.23.
