Correction
The date of the craft fair and auction at the Faith Sellers Senior Center was listed incorrectly in Wednesday’s edition. It will take place Nov. 21 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Nina Hoffman from the South Carolina Bar will be at the Center on Nov. 9 at 10:15 a.m. to discuss concerns many seniors have including probate, wills and trusts. Write your questions down and bring them with you to discuss with Ms. Hoffman.
Sing-a-long: Veterans Day is Nov. 11 and we will honor these brave men and women by singing songs about the country they fought for. Nov. 10 at 10:45 a.m.
New Member Social: If you became a new member in August, September or October, we would like to welcome you on Nov. 11 at 10:30 a.m. Please join us and meet other new members, learn about the services and activities, how to register for classes/activities, and learn a little about the Center’s history. Light refreshments provided. Signup sheet is in the front lobby or call Debbi at 871-5053.
Dorchester Seniors, Inc. Board of Directors: The Dorchester Seniors Inc. Board of Directors will have their annual board meeting Nov. 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the David Sojourner Senior Center, 5361 E. Jim Bilton Blvd., St. George.
Crossword puzzles: Love a challenge? Join us as we work together to complete crossword puzzles on Nov. 12 at 10:15 a.m.
Veterans Appreciation: On Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. the Faith Sellers Senior Center and the Eagle Military School Color Guard will honor our members who are veterans with a special appreciation ceremony. If you would like to attend, the signup sheet is located in the front lobby or call Debbi at 871-5053.
A variety of exercise classes and arts and crafts activities are among the other events that will be held at the senior center. For more information and a full schedule of activities, contact Debbi Covell at 871-5053.
The center is located at 312 N. Laurel St., Summerville. It is for people 50 years and older. Membership is free for Dorchester County residents and $12 per year for out of county residents.
