Parents try out the latest gadgets at Tech Night
Tuesday, February 24, 2009

On Jan. 29, students and parents flooded Beech Hill Elementary School to take part in Technology Night, which featured demonstrations and activities to highlight technology in the classroom.
Instructional Technology Specialist Eileen Fernandez-Parker planned the evening, which included an assortment of games for children of all ages.
Parents answered questions using the Senteo remotes and bowled into the night with their children on Wii on the SMART board. Students enjoyed instructing parents on how the technology worked.
The success of the evening was due to a widespread effort by BHES school administration, faculty, staff, fifth-grade student techno helpers, the DD2 ITS team and the DD2 Interventionist Team.
