Thirty-six members of Summerville High School’s Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) recently completed the Basic Leadership Training Program. The course took place at Marine Recruit Depot, Parris Island, from June 15-19. During the week, the cadets were introduced to various training venues at Parris Island while getting additional instruction in military drill, ceremonies and physical training. Cadets Sierra Wilkerson and Patrick Brown were awarded Spirit Awards for their outstanding performance during the week.
