Gerald Oran Salisbury, 58, of Summerville, SC, husband of Thelma Crace Salisbury, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at a Summerville hospital.
Funeral services was held Tuesday afternoon, February 16, 2010 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in Summerville Cemetery.

Mr. Salisbury was born February 4, 1952 in Summerville, SC, a son of Ossie Oran Salisbury, Jr. and Mabel Smith Salisbury. He was a US Army veteran of Viet Nam. He was an operator at Kapstone Paper Mill.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Salisbury of Summerville; three sons, Robert S. Salisbury and James G. Salisbury both of Summerville, and Jerry L. Salisbury of TX; two daughters, Reda E. Salisbury of Goose Creek and Tonya Salisbury of Ridgeville; one  son-in-law, Chuck Anderson of Goose Creek;  two sisters, Jan Helton and Jeannie Montour both of Moncks Corner; and 14 grandchildren.
