I had the opportunity to take my daughter to school today after a dr. appointment. I found it quite amusing that ½ of the student parking lot sits empty. Could it be that the district tried to be too greedy and take from too many students by raising the price to park from $25.00 to $100.00 in a school year. Seems to me that they are no better off than where they were before. I agree with an increase, but what they did was what I would consider to be price gouging. I’d venture to say that if they don’t drop the price next year, the same thing is going to happen. I know my child won’t drive to school if it stays at that price.
