Stephen Wilson, Demian Stillings, Jeff Havens, Mike Havens, Allison Martin, Jordan Stauffer and Michelle Priester of Summerville attended Premiere Day at Charleston Southern University March 28. These prospective students have been awarded the Dr. Jairy C. Hunter Jr. Scholarship. This presidential scholarship is CSU’s top academic award and goes to students with an SAT score of 1200 or higher or ACT composite of 27 or higher, and a minimum GPA of 3.5.
CSU rolls out the red carpet on Premiere Day to students accepted at CSU. They are given the opportunity to tour the campus, meet with faculty, discuss financial aid, and attend special sessions about the honors program, athletics and career services.
