Lauren L. Wiseman and E. Chandler Miler, rising seniors at Summerville High School, have been chosen to represent the school at the upcoming Palmetto Girls State Conference, June 7-13. As delegates to the program, Miler and Wiseman were selected based on school involvement and leadership skills they have demonstrated throughout their high school careers. The Girls State Program has been organized since 1947 by the American Legion Auxiliary and is designed to further educate outstanding high school students about state and local government.
