Summerville Catholic School sponsored a night of fun to encourage a love for learning math. Teachers in kindergarten through fifth-grade created games and activities to reinforce math skills that have been taught in class. Children began the evening by estimating how much candy was in the guessing jar. Students then escorted their parents to the classroom for exciting games such as Leprechaun Math, Monkey Multiplication and Base Ten Bingo. Every child was able to take home the games so they could continue to practice their skills. The children were thrilled to spend the evening playing educational games, but the best part was beating their parents!
