Summerville Medical Center Employee wins Health Care Hero award

Nancy Cronk, Labor and Delivery Nurse with Summerville Medical Center, was named a “Health Care Hero” by the Charleston Regional Business Journal and the Force Protection Center for Brain Research at MUSC, hosts of the 2009 HealthCare Heroes Awards.
Two Trident Health System employees were also nominated in two of the six award categories, including: Volunteer Sam Delia for “Community Outreach” category and Nancy Cronk, RN for “nurse” category.
“A Healthcare Hero is anyone who goes above and beyond their call of duty to help others in need,” said Louis Caputo, CEO at Summerville Medical Center.  “We have many heroes within our Health System and we are honored to have them as part of our team.”
