Army Sgt. Cathrine A. Kitarogers was part of a support team made up of soldiers from throughout the Army for the 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The Army sponsored the nationally-televised football game played on January 9th at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. This was the Army's 10th year as sponsor of the high school all-star game that pits the best players in the nation against each other in an East versus West contest. The soldiers' support ranged from coordinating events with players and soldier-heroes to providing media coordination, hotel accommodations and organizing and orchestrating pre-game activities. In this year's match-up, the West team managed to outscore the East team, 30-14. Kitarogers, a healthcare specialist (combat medic), is assigned to the Warrior Transition Battalion, Fort Campbell, Ky. She has served in the military for 13 years. She is the daughter of Joseph J. and Joanne M. Florencio of Duck Blind Court, Summerville, S.C. Her husband, Joshua, is the son of Ralph and Susan Holdren of St. Petersburg, Fla.
