Location: Woodward Boulevard; Canaberry Circle
Date: June 10-11
Time of day: Overnight or between 9:30 a.m. and 6:50 p.m.
Items stolen: Tools, guns, jewelry and a cell phone
Total value: $12,015
Details: Home on Woodward Boulevard is undergoing renovation; an upstairs bedroom was vandalized with paint on the walls and carpet, the latter of which was also burned; no signs of forced entry; rear door to home on Canaberry Circle was forced open; about $8,000 worth of guns were missing from a gun safe in the victim’s closet.

Type of theft: Vehicle break-in
Location: Orangeburg Road (near Yerby Road)
Date: June 3-4
Time of day: Overnight
Items stolen: In-dash stereo
Total value: $150
Details: There was a circular hole in the front passenger window with blood around the hole, suggesting someone punched through the window; the vehicle was locked at the time.

Location: Congaree River Drive (The Lakes of Summerville)

Item stolen: 2005 Forest River Work and Play camper

Details: The vehicle was parked in a storage lot.

Location: Good Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic on Old Trolley Road
Date: June 8
Time of day: 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Item stolen: Laptop computer
Total value: $1,500
Details: Employees were out to lunch, and the only ones with the keys to the clinic, when the computer was stolen from an office inside; one door may have been unlocked; no signs of forced entry.

Type of theft: Larceny
Location: Thorpe Road (off Hodge Road)
Date: June 8-9
Time of day: Between noon (June 8) and 12:32 a.m. (June 9)
Items stolen: Two 53-foot container trailers
Total value: $10,000
Details: Containers were taken from a salvage yard; due to a language barrier with the victim, the reporting deputy had difficulty understanding what happened.
