“We Care Home Care” opened its doors in the Lowcountry earlier this year with 20 employees, and the company is already preparing for growth as it provides personal care for clients in their homes and assisted living facilities.
Matt Shelbourne and Mark Baty, who also own a Lowcountry medical staffing company and sleep clinics, created the company. They bring more than 30 years of experience in the medical field to their company, which has a unique business model. In addition to focusing on hiring experienced, compassionate caregivers for their clients, they provide private, daily, hour-by-hour online dairies of the patient’s experience for family members who cannot be there. They will also provide web camera interaction between patients and their family members, if requested, to help bridge the miles.
