Young, Sires trade vows

Julie Sanfrey Young was married to Robbie Ray Sires, both of Charleston, S.C., on Nov. 21, 2009. The ceremony was held at Old Wide-Awake Plantation and was officiated by the Rev. Dixon Adams.
The bride was given away in marriage by her father, Mr. Robert Young.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Young, of Goose Creek, S.C.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Trey Sires, of Ravenel, S.C.
The bride wore a strapless pearl encrusted bodice with a lace-up back. The skirt was taffeta with pick-ups and a sweep train.
The matron of honor was Mrs. Kristen Barenborg Young. Bridesmaids were Lauren Ashley Warstler and Tristan Lee Sires. The flower girls were Jordan Makayla Sires and Julia Lee Sires.
The best man was Mr. Trey Sires. Groomsmen were Mr. Mitchell Stanley and Mr. Brandon Russell.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Odell Whitlock, Sr., of Goose Creek, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Young.
The groom is the grandson of Ms. Carolyn Ricker and Mr. Joe Ricker, both of Charleston and Mr. Norman L. Sires, of Hollywood, S.C., and Mrs. Tom Kelly, of Apollo Beach, Fla.
The couple will honeymoon in Sevierville, Tenn., and will reside in Charleston.
