The mom obviously knew about and didnt do a damn thing to stop it. She should be charged as well. Not only that but she should have this child taken from her, do time in prison, not be allowed to see the child again, and be forced to have a hysterectomy so that she can no longer have any more kids! Its people like her and her boyfriend that make me sick!

I think that MOM should be charged as well as the father. MOM knew about it, and took the child to daycare? When she should have taken poor baby to the hospital. Just another sorry mom defending the scumbag that harmed her baby. When will these women start thinking of their children?....Its just sad!!! CHILDREN CANNOT PROTECT THEMSELVES!!!!!

It takes alot of patience to potty train a child --boys usually are 3 before their muscles develop. Parenting is the hardest yet most rewarding gift God can give, but many receive this gift to soon in life. May God keep this precious child safe from harm in the future.

The Herald of Rock Hill reported 23-year-old Christian Brown was arrested Monday by Lancaster County sheriff's deputies.
Sheriff Barry Faile says a childcare employee alerted emergency medical workers after finding blisters on the boy. A sheriff's report says the child was taken to Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster with burns on his bottom and genitals.
Faile says the boy suffered first- and second-degree burns and was being observed at the hospital.
The sheriff's report says the boy's mother told authorities they were potty-training the boy and he was not doing well. She has not been charged.
It was unclear Wednesday if Brown had an attorney.
