William & Susan Bartley Celebrate 60th Anniversary

William and Susan Bartley

William and Susan Bartley celebrated 60 years of marriage on May 25. A celebration was held in their honor on May 26 at 3 p.m. as family and friends joined William and Susan to commemorate their 60-year marriage.
Mrs. Bartley is the former Susan McKelvey of Moncks Corner. She was employed with various companies, and spent her last 13 years of employment as a school bus driver for the Berkeley County School District. Mr. Bartley is a retired Fork Lift Operator from The South Carolina State Ports Authority.
The couple has seven children and eight grandchildren.
Their children are: Melvin and Cathy Bartley; Willie James and Cheryl Bartley; Curtis and Rose Myers; Solomon and Rosalind Glover; Walter and Johnnie Mae Bartley; Mae Bartley and Suzann Bartley.
Their grandchildren are: Tarvis Joy, Eric Cooper, Eric and Chrystal Neely, Brooke Myers, Kalonda Capers, Kia Myers, Marcus Bartley and Tyler Bartley.
The 60th Wedding Anniversary Dinner was held at the Holiday Inn Express in Moncks Corner. All say it was “an afternoon to remember.”
Songs of praises and words of inspiration touched the hearts of all who were present. Joshua 24:15 says but for me and my house we will serve the Lord…”and that’s how Daddy established our household”, their children said. Proverbs 31:28 says, for her children arise and call her blessed
Their children also said, “Momma, we call you blessed”.  Congratulations William and Susan Bartley on 60 years of excellence. To God Be the Glory!
