Trident Health Participates in Trident United Way Day of Caring
North Charleston, S.C./ September 4, 2012 – For the 11th straight year, Trident Health employees will be participating in the Trident United Way Day of Caring. On Friday, September 7th, over 50 employees will be volunteering their time with four different projects. Day of Caring provides the opportunity for volunteers from around the Tricounty to assist community enrichment agencies and schools by working on one-time service projects. A list of our projects is below.

- North Charleston High School, September 7, Noon
Trident Health will be presenting N. Charleston High School with donated items including: medical scrubs for health science department students and school supplies.
- Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina, September 7, 9:30 a.m.; Three Mile Road, Cordesville, SC 29434
Volunteers will spend the day pressure washing and painting the barn, dining hall and cabins.
- Rollings Middle School of the Arts Project, September 7, 8:00 a.m.; 815 S. Main St. Summerville, SC 29483
Volunteers will be planting shrubs and other flowers around campus, paint the gym and bleachers. We will also be replacing ceiling tiles in a hallway.
- Trident Literacy Association, September 7th, 9:00 a.m.; 5416 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston
Volunteers will be painting a 4,000 square foot classroom and office space.
