Summerville Elementary School celebrated Veterans Day with a school-wide assembly in McKissick Stadium. Some highlights included the SES Chorus singing a medley of patriotic music, the first graders reciting “Our Flag”, the third grade students singing “The Armed Forces Medley”, and the second graders singing “This Land is Your Land”. The entire school assembled, along with community and family members for the spirited program. Nick Sumner played Taps at the conclusion.
