The Carson Show

  • Thursday, November 29, 2012

Carson Davis, shown here with Dorchester School District 2 Board Chair Frances Townsend and Superintendent Joe Pye, has been named a Wendy’s High School Heisman award winner for the state of South Carolina. Carson, a senior at Summerville High School, was one of two state winners in South Carolina. Carson is not only a high achiever academically, he is a champion swimmer and is active in the community, DD2 PIO Pat Raynor told the board. Since 1994, the Wendy’s High School Heisman Program, in partnership with the Heisman Memorial Trophy Committee, has honored more than 250,000 of the nation’s top high school seniors.
