Chitwood, Ryder marry in fall ceremony

Charla Elene Chitwood and Christopher John Ryder of Johns Island were married November 10 in a ceremony at The Island House on the Stono River in Johns Island, South Carolina.  Joe Bustos officiated the 4 pm wedding. Music for the ceremony was performed by Christina McNeill & Aaron O’Brien of Oh Valentino.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. Charles Chitwood & Mrs. Tamar Green of Summerville, South Carolina.  Her father gave her in marriage.
The Groom is the son of  Dr. & Mrs. Jack Ryder, of Edisto Island, SC.
The bride wore a straight silhouette Anna Sui gown. The dress was sheer ivory adorned with scintillating arcs of sequins and a row of round buttons.  She carried a bouquet of white anemones, Queen Anne’s lace, dusty miller and pale peach garden roses.
The maid of honor was sister Carrie Ann Chitwood, and the matron of honor was Jo Carr Hunter. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Campbell,  Claire Griffith, Jennifer Cooper Perry & Ginger Scofield
The best man was Mitchell Song.  The groomsmen were Jonathan Ryder, Adam Landress, Jason Slider, Gregory Strickland, Bryan Bolin.
The flower girls were nieces Kaylin Chitwood & Abby Dycus.
Following honeymoon to Key West, Florida the couple will reside in Johns Island.
