Road rage
A Summerville man reported that he and his wife were traveling along North Main Street when a gold Cadillac DeVille crossed over two lanes without signaling and cut them off before turning into North Main Market near Shoney’s. The complainant said he turned into North Main Market behind the subject, who suddenly slammed on his brakes, nearly causing a collision. The complainant said he honked his horn and the subject jumped out of the Cadillac and started yelling threats and obscenities. When the complainant said he was going to call the police, the subject scoffed, “What are the f****ng police going to do?”
The subject then got back into his vehicle and drove toward Cat’s Music, parking his car near Wal Mart.
The complainant described the subject as a white male about 5 feet six inches tall and weighing 180 pounds, with very short brown hair and wearing a Dale Earnhardt racing jacket.
Officers found the vehicle but were unable to locate the subject.

With friends like these…
A Summerville man reported that he was arrested for domestic violence and while he was in jail he called a friend who was at the house at the time of his arrest to find some money he had hidden. The man said he had some $1,400 in cash duct taped to the roof of his dresser drawer in his bedroom.
However, the friend said he could not find the money.
The complainant said that friend and another friend were at the house at the time of his arrest, along with his live in girlfriend. Officers spoke to the girlfriend, who told them she knew there was money hidden, but that the two friends had left the house before she had awakened.
The complainant told officers that he believed one of the friends stole his money and he suggested that the police find the man before the complainant does.

Armed robbery
A Summerville man reported that he was standing outside a friend’s apartment building at Abbey Lane Apartments when a four door sedan pulled up and four black males, two of them armed with a military style rifle, got out, approached him and demanded his money. He said he gave them all his money, $25, and they left. The complainant could only provide limited descriptions of the subjects, although he said one was wearing a black and white striped shirt, another wore a red shirt with white sleeves, and another had a stocking cap.
