Lions Club pancake supper planned for Feb. 5
The St. George Lions Club invites you to join them for the much-anticipated social event of the season – the annual Lions Club Pancake Supper, according to St. George Lions Club President Mike Norris.
The Pancake Supper will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5 at St. George Middle School on Minus Street. “For a $5 contribution, the meal will include a generous stack of the most delicious pancakes and sausage you have ever tasted. Just ask anyone who has eaten our pancakes and sausage before and they’ll attest to our quality fare,” Norris said.
He stressed, “Economic times being what they are, this pancake supper is a great value for families. And, all of the proceeds go to the many sight and hearing preservation projects the Lions Club sponsors.”
Pancake Supper Project Chairman Dexter Rickenbaker noted that milk, coffee, water, and fantastic fellowship shall be available at no extra charge for the many people who choose to dine in. Take-out plates will be available, too. See your friendly Lions Club member for tickets, call President Mike Norris at 843-560-1725 or Treasurer Herbie Patrick at 843-563-4434. Tickets will also be available at the door and at the Tri-County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s office at 225 Parler Avenue, St. George.
“Because of our businesses’ and residents’ support of our Candy Day fundraiser and our annual Pancake Supper, and because of SCB&T’s ongoing support, the Lions Club is able to help numerous sight-impaired and hearing-impaired people of all ages every year. We are thankful to you all and invite you to join the Lions Club if you would like to be a part of a civic organization that reaches out to help people all year long,” Norris said.
