Three Swamp Fox players met the 20-point scoring mark Tuesday as the Ashley Ridge boys earned a 74-61 victory at Colleton County.
Romelo Doctor posted a game-high 23 points while D.J. Stevens scored 22 and Fred Weeks scored 20. Malik Graham added five points for the Swamp Foxes and Vernon Moree finished with four points.
The Cougars had four players score in double digits as Rashes Hodges posted 19 points, Harin Nichols scored 15, Jami Sanders scored 13 and Latrell Nieves scored 10.
Ashley Ridge jumped out to a 33-29 lead at halftime and took a 51-44 lead into the final period.
The Swamp Foxes improved to 12-6 with a 3-2 mark in Region 8-AAAA with the win. On Jan. 25, they travel to Bluffton. Ashley Ridge will host a rematch with Fort Dorchester on Jan. 29.
