Lion Jim and wife Paula have been Lions since 2007 when they joined the Summerville Noon Club and were instrumental in forming the Summerville Evening Club in 2009. Jim was the Charter President of the Evening Club, has served as District Zone 4 Chair and 2nd Vice District Governor. Jim and Paula are also active in their church and community – they truly exemplify the Lions mottos “We Serve.”
In line to become District 32B Governor in 2014, Jim along with Paula and both Summerville Lions Clubs would host the January 2015 Mid-winter Convention in Summerville.

Jim Strobel of the Summerville Evening Lions Club was elected the 1st Vice District Governor at the mid-winter convention held in Orangeburg on Jan 25-26. District 32B consists of 35 Lions Clubs from Aiken to Hilton Head with over 800 members.
