Exchange Club donates $6K to Children In Crisis

In the mid 1960s, Exchange adopted its National Programs of Service. Also known as the four "pillars" of Exchange, the National Programs of Service brought into greater focus the most pressing issues of the day and affords local clubs the ability to structure activities according to their specific community. The programs include: Americanism, Youth Programs, Community Service and their national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse.
As part of their National Project – the Prevention of Child Abuse, they presented the Dorchester Children’s Center with a check for $6,000. “We are very appreciative of the Summerville Exchange Club,. They have been extremely supportive of the Children’s Center for many years now and we look forward to their continuous support,” said Executive Director Dr. Kay Phillips.
The Summerville Exchange Club meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Miler Country Club. For more information contact Con Chellis at conchellis@allstate.com.
