SPS to discuss Middleton Place

Tracy Todd, Vice President of Museums for the Middleton Place Foundation, will give a presentation on the Middleton Family during the March 28 meeting of the Summerville Preservation Society.
Todd will make a PowerPoint presentation on the Middleton Family beginning in England and Barbados.  From before the American Revolution to the present, the Middleton Family has contributed significantly to local, state, and national events in American history. Todd will also cover the Middleton family connection to Summerville.
The Summerville Preservation Society will meet at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 28 in the Old Town Hall, 201 W. Carolina Avenue, Summerville. Admission is free but seating is limited. For more information call 871-4276.
