Duke’s Mayonnaise is looking to cast its biggest fans in an upcoming television commercial, and is turning to Facebook to find its next stars. Fans who submit videos to Duke’s Facebook page about why they love Duke’s Mayonnaise will be entered to win a trip to Richmond, VA, and an opportunity to star in the campaign. The contest will run from March 18th through April 5th.
“We want to showcase why people love Duke’s – —and what better way to do that than to hear from Duke’s fans themselves,” said Erin Hatcher, Duke’s Mayonnaise Brand Manager. “We know our Facebook page is where we’ll find the most passionate people. The Lights, Camera, Duke’s Contest will give everyone an opportunity to share how Duke’s is a part of their life, and our favorite participants will be given a chance to become TV stars.”
Contestants are invited to upload a video up to 3 minutes long to the Duke’s Facebook page. A judging panel will select up to ten winners, with one of the winners chosen by popular vote. Participants must be available to shoot in Richmond, VA, April 15th - 17th and must be 18 or older. Winners will be notified the week of April 8th via phone and email.
