Flowertown Student’s Walk the Walk!

  • Friday, March 29, 2013

Students at Flowertown Elementary School walked in their own miniature Relay for Life on Mar. 15 to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. Classes sponsored “luminaries” that were on display around the school track. Students walked the track in honor and memory of loved ones who have been affected by cancer. Throughout the month, students are collecting canned goods, donating money, and celebrating life in support of the Flowertown Elementary School “Bee Team” which will walk at the Relay for Life in April! Shown here are second graders Daniel Fersner, Palmer Jackson, Jackson Hansborough, and Jonathan Pengra walking the track in support of the American Cancer Society and the Flowertown “Bee Team.”
