Your community newspapers and First Citizens are excited to announce the return of the 2013 Taste of Home Cooking School & Showcase Expo on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Charleston Southern University’s Lightsey Chapel. Culinary specialist, Michelle Roberts, returns to the stage as she demonstrates several recipes from the Spring menu. What is Taste of Home? “Taste of Home is like a big party! The value you receive when purchasing a ticket is huge! Visiting the local vendors prior to the demonstration is just as much fun as the show itself,” explains Summerville Communications Regional Advertising & Marketing Director Chris Zoeller. What are the Ticket Prices? Ticket options available include general admission and limited preferred seating. Tickets are $11 in advance. A limited amount of Preferred Seating is available for only $17–which seats you closer to the stage. Fans can also take advantage of the VIP Package which includes the TOH Cookbook plus Preferred Seating from $35 & $55. Will food be served? Local businesses will provide light sampling for attendees to enjoy, but many enjoy eating dinner before the show. Charleston Southern University’s Aramark catering services offers a Dinner Buffet which includes a main dish, side dishes, a drink and dessert. Dinner Buffet tickets can be purchased with your Taste of Hone tickets in advance for $7 or $8 at the door. How Can I Purchase Tickets?
