Hess, Taylor wed Saturday

Katherine Anne Hess and Kevin Lee Taylor, both of Summerville, were married on April 13, 2013 at Brosnan Forest in Dorchester, South Carolina.
The Rev. Trent Owens performed the 4:30 p.m. ceremony. The reception followed at Brosnan Forest.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. Keith Hess and Ms. Pat Hess. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bailey of Charleston and Mr. Milton Hess and the late Mrs. Milton Hess of Charleston. She is currently employed by Carolina Shelving and Mirror.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rogers of Knightsville. He is the grandson of Mr. Horace Messervy and the late Mrs. Horace Messervy of Knightsville. He is currently employed by Taylor Logging Company.
Kristen Brame served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Alison Maniccia, Felicia Taylor, Nicole Coryell, Kelsey Myers, Elizabeth Taylor and Payton Taylor. Kensley Taylor was the flower girl.
Kelly Taylor, the groom’s brother, was the best man. Groomsmen were Bryce Alexander, Phillip Varner, Tyler Varner, Austin Varner, Eric Crowe and Kenny Goodwin. Harlan Taylor and Kory Brame were ring bearers.
A rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s parents at Brosnan Forest. The couple will reside in Summerville, South Carolina.
