The Kiwanis Club of Summerville will be holding its annual golf tournament on Monday, May 20 at Miler Country Club. Registration/Lunch will be at noon, tee off at 1:00 p.m. The club is looking for sponsors for the tournament as well as players. Cost is $75 per player or $300 for a four-some. Registration fee includes lunch, goody bag, snacks, green and cart fees, dinner and beverages, and two Mulligans. Hole sponsorships are $100. Other sponsorships are available and range from $300-$1,000.
Cash prizes will be given for first and second place, closest to pin, hole-in-one, and longest drive.
Kiwanis Club is an international organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Members help shelter and feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged, and care for the sick. They develop young leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research and more. They sponsor the Terrific Kids programs in the school system to recognize students and promote character development, self-esteem, and perseverance.
