Seasonal allergies afflict many who live in the Lowcountry, but Dr. Jeffrey Dietrich, with  Allergy and Asthma Consultants in Summerville, says there are several ways to find relief. “We live in a beautiful place. A vast majority of the people who have seasonal allergies or asthma should be able to get out there and enjoy it.” Dr. Dietrich can help new patients pinpoint what causes their allergic reactions, then determine the best solutions. In some cases, that might include avoidance measures or over-the-counter or prescription medicines. With success, they can stop taking medications and worry less about exposure. Plus, Dr. Dietrich says, immunotherapy can help prevent a patient from developing asthma or additional allergies.

“It’s really rewarding to be able to make people feel a lot better and impact their quality of life.”   -Jeffrey Dietrich, MD
