Meredith Hungerford looks with wonder at a butterfly that landed on her finger during the Pinewood Preparatory School release of dozens of butterflies students had raised from larvae in tribute to the fundraising they had done which raised more than $20,000, $10,000 more than their goal. Citing her son Chase’s battle with cancer, Chase After a Cure founder, Whitney Ringler, spoke of how her son saw yellow butterflies as angels.
