On May 20, Summerville Elks Lodge #2719 presented The ARK of Summerville with a $2,000 donation. This money was raised by the lodge's Alzheimer's committee. Headed by chairperson, Tammie Blades, the committee held fundraisers, attended bike rallies, golf tournaments and placed donation boxes throughout the lodge for people to contribute to this worthy cause. Summerville Lodge #2719 is honored to be able to assist The ARK in its continued efforts to offer relief and care for families living with Alzheimer's or other memory disorders in our community.
