The American Red Cross provided immediate emergency assistance to two adults and one child whose Summerville home was destroyed by a fire Saturday evening in Summerville.
The Red Cross provided the family with funds to replace food and clothing lost in the blaze, comfort kits containing personal toiletries and a stuffed animal for the child. The family also received referrals to Red Cross partner agencies to assist in meeting any long-term recovery needs.
