Jasso semi-finalist

Chase Jasso of Summerville High School was a semi-finalist in the Stossel in the Classroom essay contest. Honorable Mentions were given to Summerville High School students Torii Johnson, Mitchell Cook and Sean Lam.
Stossel in the Classroom is a project of the non-profit Center for Independent Thought. Students ages 13 to 18 were asked to write an essay about whether government or private individuals were better at solving problems, after reading John Stossel’s book No They Can’t.
There were 3,503 essays submitted by students around the country with 225 chosen as prize winners.
