Teaching students to be good citizens online is of utmost importance so WHAIES ITS Pam Inabinett created and taught a Digital Citizenship class to several of the school’s fifth grade classes recently. As these students are about to embark on their journey to middle school, she felt making these students aware of the many situations students in middle and high school find themselves in by not making appropriate choices and being a good citizen online. She incorporated technology into her lesson with Power Point, videos and tests using SMART Response wireless remotes.
