The Partridge Creek Young Guns 4-H Skeet and Trap Team had several Top 3 performances May 4 during the at Mid Carolina Gun Club in Orangeburg.
Under the leadership of coaches Robert Lindley, Ed Cox and Perry Rhyne, the team garnered five plaques and 20 ribbons in various skeet and trap divisions.
In the trap competition, the first-year team of Justin Haddle, Hunter McKnight and Nicklas Middaudh placed second in the Junior Division. The first-year team of Sonny Kay, Chandler Whaley and James Widener placed second in the Senior Division.
In the High Overall Average (HOA) trap competition, Sonny Kay placed second and James Widener placed third.
In the skeet competition, the first year team of Sonny Kay, Chandler Whaley and James Widener placed first in the Senior Division. The first-year team of Trae Knight, Kendall McClary and Hunter McKnight placed third in the Junior Division.
In the High Overall Average skeet competition, Hunter McKnight placed second and Sam Muckenfuss placed third.
