Summerville Walking Tours
The Summerville Dorchester Museum is offering two guided walking tours of Summerville (one of old planter Summerville and the other of West End and its railroad history).  Walks cover about a mile and take about an hour.  They are available daily by appointment.  For further information call 875-9666 or visit www.summervilledorchestermuseum.org.
The First Thursday Readers

Book Signing, Mary Alice Monroe

The Friends of the St. George Library are sponsoring a discussion and book signing with noted writer, Mary Alice Monroe.  She will talk about her new book, “The Summer Girls” at the McMahan Library in St. George from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 23. Tickets to the event are $20, which includes a copy of the book and the opportunity to have the author sign your book.
