Pay attention
 
At some point between 5 p.m. May 24 and 9 a.m. May 25, someone apparently backed into the fence around the Dorchester Summerville Museum at 100 East Doty Avenue, damaging it. Fence posts in one section on the corner of Doty and Printers Alley were knocked off the fence according to the museum curator.
 
Thirsty
 
Sometime between 2:30 and 2:40 a.m. May 27, someone broke into a freezer at This Whole House on Doty Avenue. When the complainant arrived at work the following morning she heard the alarm going off and investigated discovering damage to the freezer lock. Two bottles of alcohol were missing.
Camera footage showed the perpetrator. The complainant requested the property  be placed on the directed patrol list.
 
Targeted area
 
Thieves were busy breaking into cars at Weatherstone subdivision in Summerville  May 28. Three victims reported to police that their vehicles were either the target of vandalism or theft. One had her GPS stolen and another his wallet.
Witnesses saw a group of men shining flashlights into vehicles on Delafield Dr. Police processed each scene for fingerprints.
On Avonshire Dr., a vehicle had its rear window smashed out.
